Live Speaking Practice with Speak-Off
Speak-Off connects two learners for a live audio or video conversation. Send a direct invitation or post an open challenge, then work with the same discussion focus.
What you can practise
- Choose today’s topic, a suggestion, or a custom topic with an optional shared goal.
- Talk for up to eight minutes, with optional speaking-time turns.
- Review both speakers’ scores, relevance, responsiveness, and coaching after analysis.
How it works in the app
- Find a learner in your practice language and send an invitation.
- Accept within 30 minutes, then both enter the room within five minutes.
- Start together, speak, and revisit saved results or the other speaker’s profile.
Before you begin
Challenge recordings are used for AI evaluation after the in-app recording notice. Access is checked before sending or accepting; coin reservations are released if the challenge never starts. Reporting and blocking tools are available in the app.
